An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the ‘Siddhipeethas’.
Bhim Pakoda
Its believed that during their exile, Pandavas had halted at this location and Bheema, renowned for his strength, had placed a huge rock on top of another. This big rock can be moved by a little push but its so well placed that it never falls.
St. John’s and St. Mary’s Church
While St. John’s is a Roman-Catholic Church, St. Mary’s is an Anglican Church that has been partially turned into a reading room, but it’s a must visit for its beautiful stained-glass windows and quaint aura.
